We have been living and farming at Carmichael Farm for over twenty years. There are fantastic opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and the surrounding area in all weathers and all seasons! We enjoy a great central location, with fields in Perthshire, Angus and Tayside which means easy access to many of the outdoor activities in these areas.
There are beaches, golf courses ,fishing, cycle tracks, horseriding, quad biking, boat trips and a huge range of watersports all within easy reach.
There are plenty of super family walks from the doorstep, great views from the top of the farm and lots of wildlife and livestock to see in all seasons. The farm and the surrounding area was a favourite area for the artist, McIntosh Patrick to paint and Carmichael Farm features in a few of his paintings and many of his paintings are of neighbouring land and property. A lot of his work can be viewed in the McManus Galleries in Dundee.
The Carse of Gowrie has some beautiful walks and cycles alongside the Tay River. For keen walkers, The Angus and Perthshire Glens are not far by car and have plenty hill walking and stunning hill and loch scenery.
In the Winter time, if you are lucky enough to get snow we can provide farm sledges and we have hills! If you are interested in skiing, Glenshee can be reached in an hour.
