We brought up our family at Carmichael Farmhouse and when we decided to fully renovate and modernise the Farmhouse, families were at the forefront of our plans. We wanted everyone to be able to relax and enjoy their holiday.
The garden is fully enclosed to keep kids safe but is large enough for them to have the space to run around or kick a ball.
Younger children will enjoy the swing set and large, enclosed sandpit and for older children the old stable next to the garden has been converted into a games shed with a ping pong table.
How about creating a family masterpiece on our giant chalk boards?
Inside the Farmhouse, the layout has family in mind. There is a snug with plenty of board games, a double sofa bed which can sleep two children, Sky TV with multiroom and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs which means that the kids have their own space to go and relax.
In the main living room there is a wood burning stove, wall hung flat screen TV with Sky multiroom and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs. There is also plenty of room for storing golf clubs, prams and bikes and a good drying room and boot room for all those wellies!
The farm and surrounding areas have some great family walks and wildlife to spot.
After a long day there is plenty space in the garden to sit out and enjoy a BBQ and watch the sun go down or to gather around the stove in the sitting room surrounded by friends and family.
